Overview

EvidentCV AI helps you create tailored CVs and application materials for job applications. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Data we process

• Account data: sign-in identifiers (for example Apple ID subject or email for magic-link sign-in), session tokens, and entitlement status.
• CV and job content: files or text you upload, job descriptions, and preferences you provide for personalisation.
• Generated outputs: tailored CV sections, cover letters, LinkedIn copy, and interview prep derived from your inputs.
• Purchases: App Store transaction metadata synced via RevenueCat; we do not store full payment card numbers.
• Diagnostics: crash reports (Sentry) and privacy-safe product analytics (PostHog) with scrubbing of CV text, tokens, and secrets.

How we use data

We use your data to authenticate you, generate and store application packs, enforce entitlements, export documents, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. AI providers process prompts containing your CV and job text only to deliver the service.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded CVs, job text, exports, and account data are retained according to our backend retention settings. You can delete your account from the app profile, which requests deletion of packs, exports, and session data on the server.

Sharing

We use subprocessors for hosting, storage, AI inference, payments (Apple / RevenueCat), email delivery (if enabled), error reporting, and analytics. We do not sell your personal data.
